1. Long shot pan and track, Maisha walking down the corridor looks around and walks through door into PAS.

                                                Maisha:            I got your text. Why did you want me to-

                                                Michael:            Is anyone out there?

3. Medium shot of Maisha walking closer to Michael

                                                Maisha:            no, class already started.

4. Medium shot, Michael takes a step closer towards camera.

Michael:             Good. You can’t tell anyone what I’m about to show you

5. Close up on Maisha shaking her head

                                                Maisha:             What are you talking abou-

6. Over-the-shoulder shot of Michael walking closer

                                                Michael:            I have super powers.

Maisha then starts to turn away.

                                                Maisha:            [sighs] This is just another…

7. Medium Shot of Maisha walking away

                                                Maisha:            … one of your stupid jokes.

                                                Michael:            Wait.

Maisha stops, pauses, then turns around

                                                Maisha:            What

8. Long shot, Maisha’s back to camera and Michael’s gone. She looks around

                                                Maisha:            Michael…

9. Birds-eye-view of Maisha looking around and stepping toward the door.

                                                Maisha:            Michael.

10. Medium shot and pan of Maisha’s side, she turns around and jolts to a halt when she realises Michael is right in front of her.

                                                Michael:            I’m here

Maisha simultaneously screams and falls back

11. Close up of Maisha’s legs as she buckles back.

12. High angled medium shot of Michael catching Maisha. Pause.

                                                Maisha:            what happened to you?

13. Close up of Michael’s face as he smiles and shrugs.

Preliminary Task - Screenplay

Screenplay

An empty school corridor. Maisha walks towards the classroom door, stops, looks around then goes in.

Maisha: I got your text. Why did you want me to-?

Michael: Is anyone out there?

Maisha: No, class has already started.

Michael: Good. You can’t tell anyone what I’m about to show you.

Maisha: What are you talking abou-

Michael: I have super powers!

Maisha turns way and starts to head for the door.

Maisha: [sighs] This is just another one of your stupid jokes.

Michael: Wait.

Maisha: What!

Maisha turns around and no one is there. She gasps, and looks around.

Maisha: Michael? Michael?

Maisha continues to look around in shock, turns around and sees Michael right behind her.

Michael: I’m here.

Maisha screams and falls but Michael appears behind her and catches her before she hits the floor. They stare in silence, Michael look concerning while Maisha has a look of fear and disgust.

Maisha: What happened to you?

Michael smiles and shrugs

Fade to black.
