Analysis Of An Opening Sequence - Romance Theme

Two young, very handsome teenagers who coincidentely find themselves, side by side, in a new years kareoke. Singing together for the first time, embracing their shy personalities, letting the voices between them grow fond by every note they must sing. Being the first time they meet, the first time they sing together and the only time they both find love at first sight.

A beautifully winters evening, as the snow stays set, adding to the soft sound at the back, compliments the young love, by which evaluates on the romance to this successful original movie. As blooming as it should be, it is an admirable influence on young teenagers, as both, Gabriella and Troy's talents bring them together once and for all. The delightful music, to the charming voices, moving on, to the concept of love at first sight, immediately allows you to sit back and see what happens next... this performance could be the start of something new.

The mis en scene of the title connotes happiness and joy, of which matches the genre of the movie, being a teenage romance and a musical. The brightness and the bold font works perfectly well with the background being darker. This, therefore, gives an outstanding effect, clearly displays the title of the movie, "HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL." The edits of the different types of font, introducing the actors are clearly shown, alongside the glowing effect and the soft validility of the title 'New Years Eve,' warmly, it welcomes you to disney channel's original movie.

I had a number of clips that were saved from the whole days practical we done to produce a copy of the morning routine, Dexter. We used props which similarly matched the extract and of course done the best we could do to make the task we were told to do, possible. After having recorded the few clips, i imported them from the camcorder, to Final Cut Pro. Then, i edited the best ones, cut them using 'in' and 'out' and dragged them into the areas by which they should go by. Matching the few clips, i put together, the theme song was most certainly needed to finalize the whole video clip. I did not do the whole extract, not in exact order, however, i showed i have the ability to edit clips and turn into a whole video clip.

This screen is used to match final cut pro' settings to the camera being used. i chose the format dv-pal because i was using a UK T.V standard camera. PAL stands for, phase alternating line.

Before using final cut pro, you will have to sort out your settings, by which your work will be saved in. the is the system settings where you select what scratch disks you will be consuming. A scratch disk being where you will save your work.

On this screen shot, as you can see, i am changing the settings, so i am able to save everything to my desktop. it is clearly shown by, 'waveform cache..'

At this stage of final cut pro, in the screen shot, i am on the first step of making a video clip. As you can see, this clip will be consist of a number of slides, which will then include a piece of text, to begin with. However, by adding the text, you are to click on the button shown on the bottom right corner and follow down the options shown above.

in addition to the stage before this, i have finally added a text to the slide show. The text pannel, on the side of the clip, clearly shown above, gives you a variety of fonts, colours, sizes and options to edit the piece of text, by which fulfill your pleasure. i had chosen the font, bush script and because it is the very first slide, the size is larger than usual and average fit for the page, bold and clearly visual. Being able to do this, i have given myself the ability to adjoin texts into a slide and edit to my likings.

Moreover, going back to the image before this, an example of the editing of text, by which i have changed colors and sizes is shown above. The options supplied above are enough to make a perfect slide of different designs. As it is clearly shown, the pink colored button is what you click on to change your color scheme, below that, is where and how you will like your text to be formatted on the page. This includes, where your text will be layed out on the page, which then includes options like, left right, up and down.

Soundtrack Pro is a software, by which you create sounds, music, which are provided in the many different catogaries you will need. From options, in all types of sound effects, which then gives you the opportunity to use your soundtrack skills to mix sounds and evaluate on a final sound effect, to add to you video clip. By using a software i have never used before and something as confusing looking as this, i gradually built my skills to browse through all the amazing sound effects i would normally hear in tv programmes. i found it very

The two screen shots shown above, displays the variety of sound effects given in this software. As you can see, there are options of all types. By clicking on these options, you will be astounded by the major choices listed within those catogaries. Once you have found the sound effect of your choice, you simply double click on the option to end up with this.. (the screen shot below)

...Once you have double clicked on the sound effect of your choice, you will end up with the screen looking like this at this point. It gives you the option to test your sound effect, stop, play, pause and also edit, in length. this gives you the opportunity to know exactly what you want before you save this to your scratch disk, ready to be imported into your slide/video clip.
This is also referred to being a mixer.

The clip in green is of the selected sound file, which was chosen from Sondtrack Pro in the previous screen shot. After being saved, it was imported into Final Cut Pro.
